IBDP Vision And Mission

BDP Programme Philosophy

At Al-Azhar Syifa Budi (ASB) World School, we believe that education must develop the whole person— intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, and socially. Our philosophy for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme is rooted in the integration of global knowledge systems with the ethical and spiritual teachings of Islam, preparing students to become compassionate, principled, and knowledgeable global citizens.
We are committed to fostering inquiry, intercultural understanding, and respect. The IB Learner Profile aligns closely with our school’s mission to cultivate learners who are not only academically strong but also uphold integrity, empathy, and responsibility toward their community and the world.
Through the IB, ASB empowers students to think critically, communicate confidently, act ethically, and serve humanity. We emphasize a balanced approach that values academic excellence alongside community engagement and spiritual development.
We aim to nurture future leaders who can contribute meaningfully to a rapidly changing global society, while remaining anchored in Islamic values and cultural identity.

IB Mission Statement

The International Baccalaureate® aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To this end the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

ASBJ Vision

To shape globally minded, ethically grounded, and spiritually aware learners who lead with purpose, serve with compassion, and thrive in an interconnected world with Islamic Values.
